It's such a shame the way Lawrence's career has panned out. Understandable given the nature of the injury he copped, but he was a very good centre in his prime.

never justified the hype IMO. He is no Tim moltzen that's for sure. Now there's a real talent.
You're kidding. Lawrence at his best was probably the most all-around centre in the game, considering his defensive ability, speed, ability to set up the winger and his strength.
Right now he's a plodder at best and should be dropped, but that doesn't mean he wasn't once very good.

You're right. We was phenomenal in both good games he has played. Just a shame that he's lived off the memory of both those games ever since.
From 2009-2011 Lawrence was close to the best center in the game. The horrible hip injury completely destroyed him. He has no pace, no movement and zero confidence. Such a shame, he seems like a real top bloke. The move to the backrow is probably a last ditch attempt to save his career.
