Could Round 13 have something to do with it? If a bloke contracted to next year is told he won't be around and a rival NRL club puts their hand up to sign him, would it facilitate things for the other club if it was done after Round 13?

Otherwise, the timing of the whole thing is very curious.

It must suck for narrow minded whingers like yourself when people want to look at all sides of an argument.

Instead everything that happens to the club has to either be awesome or disastrous, depending on which political agenda you're pushing.

We get it, you hate Roy Spagnolo, and everything done by the coach he signed has to be portrayed as an abject utter failure.

But the reality is Kearney took over a squad that was a shambles. Is it any surprise that he wasn't able to completely turn it around in 18 months?

Certainly possible, but I think we would need more than one or two massive signings.

Assuming the reports are accurate, and assuming that all 12 players do move on, then we will be down 8 players (12 players leave, 4 new players arrive, for a net loss of 8 players). Some of our Wenty and even NYC players might step up to fill some spots, but what we really need are some quality depth signings to fill in the missing 8 spots.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind a big signing.
