If he's fit I'd pick the cross-eyed f**kwit at fullback before Dugan. Hopoate will most likely play wing if he gets picked.

If you're talking about Brett Stewart, then yes, I'd agree.

However I'd have neither B Stewart nor Dugan in the team because teams are strongest when their best players are in the spine.

1. Hayne

and figure out the rest from there.

I still don't get the Dugan love, sure, he can bounce around like a rodeo clown, but he's a step too slow for Origin, and his defensive positioning is weak.

yep. brett stewart (not to be confused with his brother, the fat cross-eyed f**kwit).

and yeah, i agree. i would pick hayne at fullback before either but if it came down to some daley logic/excuse for picking hayne in another position to accommodate another fullback then i don't think dugan is close to as good as the cross-eyed f**kwit when both are fully fit.

You mean like the time he won the Dally M Medal from the wing?

2006: Dally M Rookie of the Year
2007: Dally M Winger of the Year
2009: Dally M Fullback of the Year
2009: Dally M Player of the Year
2009: RLIF International Player of the Year

2006 jarryd played on the wing in all his matches, in 2007 jarryd hayne started on the wing and moved to fullback when Burt was injured in round 17 and it was a similar story in 2008. In 2009 Jarryd started at 5-8 and in round 8 moved to fullback and Burt moved to the wing and he was named Dally M player and fullback of the year. He never won the Dally M from the wing, I'm not sure if he even played on game on the wing that year and even in 2007 when he won winger of the year he played half the time at fullback.

My preference would always be to have Hayne in the #1 on a club and state level as I don't think there is a better player in NSW. Hayne advantage over every back in NSW is his creativity and ability to not only create chances for himself but those outside him. There are a multitude of players who are fast and have the ability to beat there man one on one which is the main job of any winger (as well as defense etc) but playing on the wing restricts Jarryds play making and if it was me and fullback wasn't an option then I would play him in the centres because that allows him to ball play a bit more.

IMO

Hayne, Hoppa, Jennings, Morris, Morris (maybe throw ferguson in there if he plays) is stronger then Dugan, Hoppa, Jennings, Hayne, Morris. What you loss from Hayne at fullback compared to Dugan is more then you gain from Hayne over Morris in the centres... i.e Morris is a better SOO centre then Dugan is a SOO fullback.
