Didn't he come off the bench in the WC? Call me silly, but wouldn't one of the "worlds best props" be in the starting side?
With Napa it is.Wait are you actually admitting the Roosters forward pack is shit?
George Williams from Wigan has huge potentialF**k the Forwards, are there any Halves interested in coming here . . . they only need to play a little better than Sezer
Good player, late bloomer. Shows that you can still make it after 25! Makes you wonder how many more talented players are cast aside because they aren't first grade material by 23?
WHAT? I thought the 2018 season was over before it's already started...Alex Walmsley is the top prop in Super League, playing for St. Helens. He was excellent for England in the World Cup. He is one of the world's best props. Several NRL clubs are interested in signing him. Who will get him?
The only club that probably doesn't need him is North Queensland Cowboys, who are stacked with quality props.
The top club that probably desperately needs him most is the Sydney Roosters, who have lost Kane Evans to Parramatta Eels for 2018 on, and who are one experienced prop short of a Grand Final victory.
But the rumour is that St George have got some kind of verbal agreement for him to come to Kogarah in 2019, on the basis of his joining another former St Helens prop, England star James Graham. Nothing confirmed yet though.
true thatProps rarely bloom before the age of 25. Alex Walmsley just follows the pattern.

Penrith will rue letting Brennan go and re-signing Griffin.
Also reports of Merrin being shopped around. Can't Gould honour contracts.
Letting Merrin go actually makes sense they have plenty coming through now ready for 1st grade....
And Merrin along with peach and moylan were amongst the hook mutineers anyway
