If they sign Hunt they still won’t have a halfback.Dogs should sign Hunt immediately.
Who cares about overpaying for 1-2 years. They haven't had a halfback since Kieran Foran...
This year Hunt was thoroughly outplayed by Toby f**king Sexton.

He was the worst halfback in the comp before the serious injury. Good luck Dragons.

Huh? Baz is at the bronx tiktok
Dragons 2005
They must not like baz for him to miss out
Is that when you got 3 spoons in a row?I'm sure he'll be better coming back off an ACL
Deadset Dragons, this reminds me of when we had Lincoln Withers and Daniel Fitzhenry as our first choice halves
Where was he before the broncosHuh? Baz is at the bronx tiktok
Is that when you got 3 spoons in a row?
Not really.
He had a poor end to the season and is a known f**k up. But he is worlds ahead of Toby Sexton.
Dragons fans trying to convince every other rugby league fan that the guy who had the most try assists in the comp by an absolute mile is actually really shit is incredible viewing
Terrible advice.It's a Dargons thing.
Hunt is exactly what the Dogs need. They were no hope last year because he wanted to return to QLD but the story has changed. They absolutely should overpay if it means they secure his signature for 1-2 years.
Not a huge fan of Flange jnr.So youre happy with them as your starting halves?
Terrible advice.
If the clubs secures Hunt for as little as 1-2 years and that cost the continued development of Toby Sexton and a 2-3 years short fall after Hilunt leaves and before Woods is actually ready would be a terrible result for the club.

Don't mind Ilias. Got more development and upside in him. Hopeful his ACL recovery is going well and he hasn't lost any pace. Hope he doesnt do another ACL injury.
I believe these young halves take time to develop and when they come into first grade young and don't continue on an unrealistic trajectory, they are too easily cast aside.
I hope we find a complimentary 5/8 for Ilias, but not holding my breath as coaches son and all that.
Would have preferred our experienced half could have overseen development and transition of the young halves coming through, but Hunt was toxic, so had to go. Only got a few years left in him anyway. Good luck to him chasing a comp, but he could have managed his exit better, as could the club... use the merkin as trade bait rather than let him walk, but I reckon its for the best.
I would also prefer to see where Hunt lands to see if we could prize something loose, but who would that be? Sexton or SOS or Hastings or the Chad? Slim pickings out there.
Stopped reading after this. Hate to break it you but you don’t understand footy.Toby Sexton isn't a first grade half.

Have a goodnight.
I’m not your brah. Get that right.Cheers brah.

Better go to the aquarium and sort this out.
I'm not into this Matt. It's laborious.
Some others will argue with you at this level I don't have the bandwidth for it.
Canterbury supremo Phil Gould was viewed as a potential wildcard after missing out on Storm ace Ryan Papenhuyzen, but the Bulldogs are not as keen as the Broncos or Dolphins.
The Bulldogs have yet to make a formal offer for Hunt, prepared to wait and see if he is available at a reduced rate.
