Rumoured Signings

I don't see it happening in all honesty. I think its just the opinion of a few Fox Sports numpties based on 2 games in a 27 round season. Same with the Brandon Smith being released to Souths in 2025 rumour, it started there and has little grounding in reality in my opinion.
Smith has been announced. Issue is will be early ie this year

The rumour I was referring to was the Roosters releasing him so that Souths could sign him for the remainder of 2025. That is what I think is a b/s rumour. If that wasn't clear to you, I hope it is now.

Thank you :)

Eels don’t

we are a Clean club and self report our salary cap breaches
The fact that you have breaches to report means that, by definition, you are not a clean club.

The added fact that you have not won a premiership (contrary to established salary cap breaches) in most peoples living memory just makes it worse.

Knights are gambling hard on expansion insurance. It will pay off of the average standard of a first grader drops, not so much if they gamble wrong.

without a ratchet clause its probably fine as they will expect a significant increase in the salary cap.

In hindsight, they should have offered Luai the Brown deal last year...

Only posted it a page or two ago.

Smart from DCE. He is a million dollar half at most clubs. I'd say Roosters/Parra will be the likely destination.

I wouldn't rule out the Dolphins either. They need decent halves, and Daly is originally from Qld so could be a "match made in heaven". Media reports have them very much in the mix.

On my list:

Bulldogs
Eels (Moses pending)
Roosters
Dolphins
Broncos (Reynolds to retire this year?)
Warriors
Titans (Lol you never know...)
Cowboys

Basically half the comp. With more movement clubs like the Dragons come into it.

He is going to get some big offers.

EDIT: Forgot to add Canberra.
