is it funny that the bloke tipped to be the odd man out is the first to re-sign with the tigpies?
Convo went like this....

Moses, Woods and Tedesco were walking out of Cabarita pools after Monday's recovery session, just after Cleary had spoken to the group for the first time...

Brooks was way behind them after he had problems trying to un-do the combination of the lock on his pushbike... Eventually he gets it unlocked and pumps his lttle legs as fast he can to catch up to the rest of the Big 4...

Brooks - "Hey guys, what do you think about new coach? Should we stay?"
Woods - "Oh hey there Lou.... Ummmm yeah, we're all gonna re-sign this afternoon, Thursday at the latest"
Brooks - "Yeah sweet, me too. Manager reckons there's a deal for me for 800K a year for 5 years, but whatever I'll sign too. Can't wait to play with you guys for the next few years."
Moses - "Looks like the chain has come off your pushie"
Brooks - "Oh that always happens.. Listen peeps, Mum says I can have a party at my place when my new deal is signed so keep Good Friday clear"
Tedesco - "Sounds good. What's the address again?"
Brooks - "It's number 87 Fr-"
Tedesco - "Yep, got it. See you there"

Woods, Tedesco and Moses to sign deals with other clubs before Good Friday....

haha nice creativity there but a shorter sweeter summary is:

moses - was never a junior of theirs to begin with
tedesco - only robbie farah stopped him from f**king off 3 years ago. less reasons to stay now
woodsy - is a manly fan and would rather be spooning with his mate klem

Brooks isn't worth half of $550k, he has barely shown anything since his debut.

In this overinflated new world, I think this is about what he is worth. There is ability in the kids but he is still young. Hoping Cleary can squeeze it out of him. He seems a really shy but genuine guy. I actually think that if Moses leaves the Tigers it could be a good thing for Brooks.

Moses leaving and the other three remaining is the best move for the club I reckon.

Brooks is signing for LESS than what he's currently on so it's not a bad signing at all.

Gus Gould suggests on his podcast he has a 'suspicion' that Mitchell Moses and Luke Brooks think their both halfbacks and the combination hasn't worked and their management feel it would be better if one of them moved on. He suggests it's up to Ivan Cleary to convince them both that they can remain together. It will be interesting if that happens.

This is probably pissing in the wind but Im hoping Cleary can bring more out of both of them. Under Taylor his instructions to Brooks seemed to be wait, dummy, wait a bit longer and throw it ONLY to Tim Simona unless of course you are less than 10m out and then wait, dummy, wait a bit longer, check the defence has ammassed it 4 fiercest defenders in position them slam a rocket pass at Chris Laurences chest as he runs a suicidal line into impending doom.

Instruction to brooks seems to be float aimlessly right, look for Teddy, then cut out to Nofo

Its madness. Would love them both to have more scope.

alot gets said about the tigpies "big 4" but attack has never been their problem.....

and defence is not something you focus on the spine.

You clearly havent watched any Tigers games this year.

you're hogging the sunday games, it's hard to avoid them.....

your spots are under the pump because of how soft your forwards are.

how many times have moses/brooks allowed a line break outside their 20-30m? the majority is on their line or in the redzone because of how badly your forwards are getting touched up
