And they're probably right. As soon as you sign a new bloke who is known to be a hard task master and comes from high discipline, hard work programs (Storm/Roosters) your coddled youngsters run for the hills.

Post 2019 premiership Cronk and later Friend, Cordner, Aubbuson - later still, retired and Latrell left for unders (apparently) to Souths. Won’t deny we’re still keeping Fairfax, Sal and Beetson money for a rainy day, mind you.

We had 800 -850 on the table for Luai & 900 - 950 locked up on JFH. Most of the upgrades would have been factored in already. Tago would have gotten a slice & YAM, he has gone now as well, so some of that is back on the table. We signed a back rower from the Tigers, not in the same ball park as JFH.
