Except even next year's salary cap is pretty tight. A sign of how much David wishes to turn over a new leaf may be his willingness to take a major pay cut and actually pull his weight as a result of needing to fight for the contract after.

Feel sorry for Dodd but he just hasn't impressed even in reserve grade. I hope he goes back home and stars in Super League because he can play at that level and there's no real shame in failing over here in the toughest comp in the world. He isn't the first and won't be the last.
