Kareem Abdul Jabaar copped a lot of flack when he was in Milwaukee when he changed his name from Lew Alcindor. Does anybody want to say he's a "radical" muslim? I mean seriously?

At the end of the day though, it's Hass' decision, not mine or yours.

Nobody said " radical" it's" Fanatical" and yes, it certainly makes you " fanatical".

He'll not drink or eat for an entire month in daylight hours and at some point make a long journey to a giant cube, 3 times a day he pulls a rug out, points it in the direction of said cube an neals in worship.
And now he's change his name because all that just didn't feel enough.

I've worked with people the same, good people but also brainwashed, bat shit crazy and when confronted with this is unsettling, it becomes very awkward.

I have nothing against Muslims but I don't enjoy the company of fanatics.

Not eating or drinking during daylight hours is during Ramadan, which is a month long ritual fast which all Muslims observe. Sorry its not "radical" to observe it. It's similar to Christians observing lent, or even Jewish people observing passover.

Sorry but your comments smack of religious bigotry in my opinion.

Meh all religions are cooked but I respect Muslims more because at least they are far less hypocritical

What a stupid take. Most footballers are lunatics, in one way or another.

They're entertainers, not objects of desire/worship.

Just enjoy them play footy, and unless they break the law, who gives a sh*t what they do.
Well the ones who don't break the law get punished the most... Just ask Brett Stewart, Mitchell Pearce and Spencer Leniu

Once again, big difference between the words " radical" and " fanatical" .
Big difference, they're completely different meanings.
So if you can't understand the meaning and context of words than your opinion on them means very little.

Oh so Muslims who observe ramadan are "fanatics" eh? You're a deadset dribbler, and on to my ignore list. I know more about meaning and context than you do sport.

I suppose observing Christmas makes Christians fanatics too eh

No, so context is in conjunction with many other things that are evident in the changing on one's name.
Also, Christmas is celebrated by those not religious, Ramadan is not

No, it's not.

A fanatical Muslim refers to an individual exhibiting extreme, uncritical zeal or obsessive, uncompromising devotion to their interpretation of Islam, often rejecting contrary opinions.

A radicalized Muslim is an individual who adopts extreme, fundamentalist interpretations of Islam, often rejecting democratic principles and advocating for the violent imposition of, or rigid adherence to, a specific, politicized version of Sharia law.
