So the salary cap literally doesn't apply to Sydney clubs anymore? Tigers sign 50 players and yet still have cap room for a new high priced recruit and the Bulldogs keep signing players despite signing 100 players last season. And don't give me this "playing for less money" shit. Players don't move to one of the most expensive cities to live in Australia, for less money. "Premiership opportunities" don't pay for million dollar suburban houses and higher priced lving costs.

I think the main thing here is that someone made a point about the NRLW team being successful and that also contributes to being a “KPI” for the club in a sense.

Looking at it holistically the club is doing some good things. I suppose a lot of your posts on here seem to deride the club as being a really poorly run organisation, but the NRLW team has been really successful over the last few years and should be used as some evidence that the club is doing some things well.

Making a comment like “what’s the NRLW” obviously rubs people the wrong way because it basically de-values the NRLW as a product and a measure of success when it should be hailed as a pretty groundbreaking sporting competition in many ways.
