Not sure how I feel about this...
I think this is a bad idea that's going to come back to bite us. Hope I'm wrong.
Be curious if we ever find out the ins and outs of the contract. The money is one thing, 10 years is the worrisome part.
Will be interesting if we can keep players like sharpe, Lucas and best when their contracts are up
as desperate as we are for a halfback, I hope it’s not at the expense of one of them
I reckon if you put it to anyone that we're essentially trading Hastings (800k) and Brailey (600k) for Dylan Brown for the next couple of years, the deal suddenly makes a lot of sense. My problem is what it's going to look like in 5 years.Definitely has the potential to be a horrible signing and we’ll be the laughing stock of the league for the signing, just as we were when we signed Ponga.
Tbh though, I’m also kind of like f**k it. At least the clubs trying something. It could be a bust but if he doesn’t work out we’re in no worse off position than we are now.
To me the biggest risk to signing Brown would be the potential opportunity loss of signing someone greater, but nobody better is going to come along and he has a lot of potential upside. He’s still so young. To be getting him out of the Eels will either make him or break him. Time will tell
Definitely not a 7, that was proven last year with Parra having to play Arsi at 7Good mates with AOB as well.
I think Dylan Brown is a good footy player - potentially great footy player. Great runner, great defender, but can he kick, and can he transition from a 6 to a 7?
We have our 6 - Fletch could be something amazing. Interesting times.
Good on the club for having some ambition and making a big move.
You seem to have taken this really personally.Definitely not a 7, that was proven last year with Parra having to play Arsi at 7

Hopefully I can come back and bump this post before then as Premiers, lol.

2.7, Ponga is on around 1.4mWow. What’s ponga on? Is that 2.6 combined?
I think they'll be hoping Matt Arthur comes through in the next couple of years to complete the set, to be honest. Phoenix will be in and around the team somewhere, but we'll be needing more direction from hooker if we're running with Sharpe/Brown in the halves.KP

It will be the same when BA arrives, good luck to u guys, but we have a war chest now to sign players who want to play, as a newbie fan I’d be concerned he has signed for nothing but the cash, like many others i guess, but 10 yearsNot a 7 with the way the Eels have tried to make him play. Knights first choice halfback this year was Tyson Gamble who’s also a 6 first.
