I think Jack Williams can be one of those in a sensible wayOh we definitely need a hard head or two in the forwards.
We have plenty of money to spend for next season, our recruitment will tell us a lot about how well Ryles is thought of.
He was 100% poised to get $1.2m from us.Always laugh when posts like this exaggerate players salaries to emphasis a point. Now getting paid $1.1m according to them!
He definitely beat himself off over how too easy it was to get you thereCut it out you f**kwit
That’s some serious 4D chess right there.I think you all have it wrong on POs
MON is a genius
because the way the deal was structured only way Dylan was leaving was with a stupid offer
MON due to his ineptness has destroyed the knights salary cap for the next 10-15 years
I watched the Bellamy Doco last night. An interesting insight into the type of player he's keen to sign. I'd suggest Ryles will mirror this process. Lots of similarities comparing our recent pre season and Ryles approach to Bellamy's.We also need players who might not be the best players in their position but have a tough mindset, particularly forwards. Those driven to succeed and have a bit of grub in them. A Ray Price clone or JWH or NAS type of player. For too long we've had prima donna players like Matto, all show and very little go, noted head droppers when things go bad. Clean the team out of those. Players who snarl at you when you make a mistake and get rid of those players giving high 5s when you make a mistake. Wtf is that these days?
That type of player being?I watched the Bellamy Doco last night. An interesting insight into the type of player he's keen to sign. I'd suggest Ryles will mirror this process. Lots of similarities comparing our recent pre season and Ryles approach to Bellamy's.
I think the CEO has already departedseriously though. How does the idiot CEO and O’Neil keep their jobs? They allowed the player options. Signed off on it. Is someone accountable ? Or nothing to see here ?
They have managed one disaster after another. Remember how they tried to sign Bennett after he had done the deal with Souths, the whole BA sacking fiasco. Why are they still employed?
I’ve said it plenty of times the CEO has no f**king idea.
I’ve also said on plenty occasions they have turned us into the Tigers. These idiots were hired with no experience in managing footy clubs.
who offers a player 10 years with options in his favour? He’s Not even a top 50 player. It was only by luck that these morons found similar morons at the Knights to take 5/8 off our hands and rescue us with what would have been a long 10 YEARS.
Again where’s the accountability? but but but it’s Good Governance - coming last
The type of player that can do a chicken wing, grapple, hip drop, crusher and basically do any type of wrestling in a tackleThat type of player being?
I think the only problem with a PO is the time players are given to take up the option. He didn't end up activating the options so where's the harm?
Jack Williams is one for sure as is Wishart. I reckon he is the one we will be chasing. That type of player being?
I am pretty sure NRL360 said the ratchet clause will push it up to $14mill once the cap increases kick in for the new TV deal.
Plus meowing and making animal sounds to female reporters is probably something that is more tolerated in the Hunter. They asked Ryles pre game about Brown, he was hardly glowing in his appraisal.
The only thing the merkin has given Parramatta is the finger.Plus meowing and making animal sounds to female reporters is probably is something that is more tolerated in the Hunter.
But but but, he does charity work and is so giving. Guess what? Everyone f**king does.
Who would you argue who is the bigger turncoat in the last 15 years. When you look at the big picture, he had an incredibly good deal with us. Yet the moment he got the chance, despite us backing him through two scandals—one of which made him a convicted criminal—he bailed.
Make no mistake, I’m glad he turned out to be a spoiled, entitled, and disloyal space cadet. He was never the future, and I’m certain Ryles saw it the second he arrived, which is why he didn’t even bother entertaining a bidding war with his management.
You still want to put your best 13 players on the field. And in any universe he is one of them. I'd leave him right where he is (barring injuries).
