The idea that he couldn’t learn anything at the Tigers was always rubbish objectively. Any player can learn things anywhere, and at 19 or 20, even more so.
Special needs people always connect. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Especially with a 4 x premiership 5/8 beside him, Benji (the most innovative 5/8 for a long time) as coach and the best DH in the comp feeding him. If you cant learn there, you are ignorant.

Is it really, though? It is insofar as the club was chasing him, but it really remains to be seen if it’s a bad outcome in terms of performance. As I said earlier, he’s a still raw youngster with a lot of natural talent and potential, but who’s got a long way to go before being a finished product who performs consistently. A third rookie in the spine would’ve been a huge gamble.

He brazenly lied about the Bulldogs having no plans to sign him. His claim about Galvin not being available until 2027 is bull crap and contradicted by his own words where he said the situation was untenable. He knew it was only a matter of time before he was released. He manipulated the situation perfectly.
Fair points, but both play in the middle. While Sammy is a prop, not many play NSW cup at 19, the kid is something special.

He would have been. But I remember this place was in meltdown when blaize signed with Penrith. A few weeks later and we signed Iongi and out of the two Iongi has shown much more than Blaize this year.
Yes. People are emotionally biased towards their teams and find it hard to be intellectually honest a lot of the time.

I feel like he would be happy just to have a regular starting spot and half decent money. He seems to fit the Ryles style he is trying to build aswell.
