Already 26, with only 37 games....Smith has 40 at 22.

Same TA (4), similar defence (Metcalf 88% v Smith 85%) and running game (smith 10 runs 93 m 1.2 TB v metcalf 8 runs v 79 m, 1.7 TB).

Two of those three for sure are not particularly good (unless Hawkins last week is the new Hawko standard). I'd be trying to get better. This Lorenzo guy - chances are he doesn't turn out to nothin - just going off probabilities.

Katoa would be mine but I don’t see that happening.
Metcalf would be next but if Galvin supposedly didn’t come here because he didn’t want to be 2nd fiddle, I doubt Metcalf does either with the season he currently having. Same thing with Katoa. On top of the numerous other reasons.
I think if we keep Walker, like with Brown last week, any 5/8th will really only need pass identification and the occasional run threat, and capable defence. Moses will handle 90% of kicking.

All the matters is how much he can make at the end of the day.

If we throw stupid money at Pezet then he would want him to come to us.

Not sure about the mail but was told Ryles/Wisemental are very keen on Pezet due to there connection in Melbourne who both rate him highly.

One problem is though he has contract to 2029 which means once Hughes activates his extension Pezet can talk to other clubs but we will have to offer him 4 years to match the security down in melbourne.

I am not sure if i want to offer someone unproven a 4 year contract.

Unless we offer 3 years at a higher rate to make up for the one less year
