And he had a win rate of 74% in 2021 where he played his most NRL games in an NRL season - 23 games. In a Manly side that finished top 4.

Overall his win rate is 53%.

So yeah he isn't a top 13 player, but he is hardly a liability either. Good depth player. Every squad needs them.
Thats like polishing a turd mentioning harper's win rate for the 2021 season.

Tom Turbo carried that whole Manly side from a 0-4 start to a prelim final.

He had his 2009 Jarryd Hayne like year that season.

They could have had Waqa Blake, Joel Reddy or Ryan Morgan playing in the centres and it would still be the same result.

Joel Reddy is an immortal compared to Lionel f**king Ritchie.

To be honest KPP has been pretty disappointing so far in the NRL... I had watched a fair bit of him in the Super League and thought he would transition well. So not overly surprised our recruitment team weren't interested.... especially because he was rumoured to be on 750k with the Knights.

His last month of footy has been pretty solid though, culminating in yesterday where he was arguably the best player on the field.

Maybe a change of scenery will do him well but not one I think we should lose sleep over.

There has been a little bit of chat here recently about under what circumstances I would or would not hand in my membership.

Let me go on the record here as saying if Tigers replaced Benji with Adam O'Brien that would do it.

Would rather BA. O'Brien sounds permanently pissed and his results seem to show the same.
@Legal Eel take note he says Tigers have to replace Benji with Adam O’Brien however he doesn’t specify which Benji, or in what capacity, or if AOB replaces an interim coach, or several other loopholes

Look at the coach he has got.

They have no idea how to attack and use there edge players with any shape or rhythm.

I also think they play Ponga ball waiting for Kayln to do something.

2nd half last night for me was more of a F.. you to the coach lets throw the ball and see what happens.

They havent contested an attacking bomb in 2 years and last night did it twice for 2 tries.

A 35 year old outside back? Would be a huge waste of time. He’s already the 7th oldest player in the NRL. I’d rather we used that slot to buy/develop a player who can play there for the long haul.
I'd be fine with those things as we need some leadership, it is more I am informed he is a turnstile in defense.

Is it a madlibs situation?

Tony the Tiger to replace Benji the dog with Adam O'Brien?? As a cereal mascot? Dog whisperer?

Good spot 85 Baby.

Also, why is 84 now 85?

we only seem to nail signings that no other club want.
So nobody wanted Lomax?? Cmon bro.

We're not panicking and throwing crazy money at players as the Tigers are doing. They will be no better than mid table for years to come. 10th
Being in the position the club is in on the ladder, teams in the bottom 4 usually pay overs to get out of the rut, but huge credit to Ryles he isn't going to knee jerk into paying outlandish money. He is building from within, getting good results with a inexperienced linup and landing players who are better than their current worth.
Ps. Galvin signed with the Bulldogs mid 2024. He was never ever coming here
