He's also two years older than Penisini and having a breakout year. In previous years To'a has been ordinary. Meanwhile Penisini is having his career worst season:He is twice the player Penisini is.
Penisini’s previous worst ever year was 2024. I reckon by 2026, 2025 won’t be Penisinis worst year anymore. He's also two years older than Penisini and having a breakout year. In previous years Toa has been ordinary. Meanwhile Penisini is having his career worst season:

Penisini can beat a man one-on-one. In 2023 he made 15 line breaks. The problem is he isn't getting one-on-one opportunities this year and so only has 4 line breaks.I disagree, we play an expansive type of play and we need a player out wide that can beat a man one on one. BA isn’t coaching anymore mate, our centres get early ball now and they are just not good enough.
What part of 'expensive centre' makes you think I was talking about your shit team? The last time Taylan May made 15 line breaks he played the entire year on the wing.Which part of "train & trial" suggests "expensive centre"?
He does a lot of stuff Moses does for us (i.e. kicking), which Drown doesn't need to do. But if you compare Drown's best season (2023) with Burton's (2024), Drown edges him, and that's without all the goals.I doubt it. Burton does a lot more than Brown.
No last year was his second best, even better than 2022.Penisini’s previous worst ever year was 2024. I reckon by 2026, 2025 won’t be Penisinis worst year anymore.

Of course, if you rely on the eye test, you will only look at the last game between them and you'll think that's how they both always play. And then you'll assume that's how they will always play in the future.
Plenty of teams can't get the ball outside the Dogs defence. It's why they're coming first. JAC has 14 linebreaks in 11 games this year. We can definitely get him the ball. Only three players have more LB than JAC this year, and they've all played more games than him.Club is nuts not trying to get Sandon Smih now...we seriously should not persist with Dylan Brown hopgood or Will Penisini.
Do they even practice the backline plays...can't even get a decent sweep out to JAC...it's fkn embarrassing
Pou, come on mate. Will has been on the decline for 3 years now. He's also two years older than Penisini and having a breakout year. In previous years To'a has been ordinary. Meanwhile Penisini is having his career worst season:

Burton has been better than Brown for 18 months at least. He does a lot of stuff Moses does for us (i.e. kicking), which Drown doesn't need to do. But if you compare Drown's best season (2023) with Burton's (2024), Drown edges him, and that's without all the goals.

It says they don't want to give the opposition any ammo by talking about them in the media. How the team prepares for each game is confidential information. Even sixties can keep it under his hat.My concern about coaches is when they say we just need to worry about our own game...to me it shows they haven't done homework on the opposition
He can’t anymore, He is slower and needs to be f**ked off.Penisini can beat a man one-on-one. In 2023 he made 15 line breaks. The problem is he isn't getting one-on-one opportunities this year and so only has 4 line breaks.
He played three games last year and did f**k all. He was pretty good in 2023, but not as good as Penisini, who is two years younger than him.Starford Toa was really good last year too...the bloke who will get squeezed out is Douehi and the other to get flicked will be Staines
Please...same shit happened against Moanly and Riff...makes me wonder do u really watch games or read stats?Plenty of teams can't get the ball outside the Dogs defence. It's why they're coming first. Having seen the majority of my last 15 years of NRL games at Panthers/Bluebet and contrasting our home game vs Dolphins with Panthers home game vs us, I gotta say the Panthers ground announcer, music selection and general enthusiastic display is light years ahead of the Eels.
The style of music at our home game vs Dolphins was lowkey dirgelike R&B (or whatever genre it was) whereas the Panthers always have up-tempo music, lots of rock and also electro house like The Presets My People.
As for a walk out song do we even have one?
Eels need to take notes from the Panthers and how they amp their fans. Fatastic stadium and now that we have renewed vigour in Ryles' style we need to turn on the fan energy.
