A better question is why can’t every other club do it.If our neighbours Penrith can do what they have done why not us??

And yet only half of those four clubs have made the finals more often than we have since 2019.to be fair..we're definitely not the only club with the trimmings you mentioned but there aren't many like the Broncs, Dogs, Storm and Roosters with a bit of extra spice to help them along..
And an even better question would be why does mediocrity make you stiffer than a triple scotch???A better question is why can’t every other club do it.
Yes I am talking about those guys not the TCT guys at all. The TCT guys put a shotload of time and effort and research into there. Respect.well that would be Talkin Parra and not TCT...
they are chalk and cheese..

Stop flogging a dead horse and making excuses for these deadbeats in our front office. We were always the senior partner—now we’re Penrith’s little brother. That should never have happened. We’re a huge club stuck in mediocrity, and nearly 40 years without a title proves it. It’s not just about bad luck, for f**k’s sake.A better question is why can’t every other club do it.
Are you seriously delusional Pou ? The resources we have we shouldn't be where we are most of the time, clubs like the raiders dolphins etc have nothing on us but we are anchored to the bottom of the comp on a regular basis and occasionally make the semis , you'd have to be the only person that comes on here looking to start an argument for the sake of itA better question is why can’t every other club do
Anyone with half a brain wouldn’t let Adam and his crew of bogan clowns within a mile of the club. The only half-decent one already bailed—pretty sure it was the bloke from League of Inches. Are we talking about the Parra Plodcast the same buffoons who wanted fans to turn there back on the players and do an embarrassing walk out protest during a game last year.
They even handed out fliers about it at the game i think was against Penrith last year.
I politely told them no i wasn't interested ironically we scored a try in the minute they wanted to protest.
Gee that worked out great.
Though i will argue the reason they created such inflammatory demands was so they could get better access to the club and it has worked.
The club are now bending over for those blokes and letting them inside the inner sanctum a lot more.
Don’t bother mate. He’s in his element here. Are you seriously delusional Pou ? Welcome to LU Grigor you have finally made it.Are you seriously delusional Pou ? Bulldogs were an absolute basket case for 6-7 years and Brisbane were a wreck for at least two and are still recovering....are you advocating that these depths are necessary in well run clubs? And yet only half of those four clubs have made the finals more often than we have since 2019.
When Pou says resources, I don’t think he exactly means other clubs have more money or more support or saying those clubs are better than us.Are you seriously delusional Pou ? Assuming we have some. When Pou says resources, I don’t think he exactly means other clubs have more money or more support or saying those clubs are better than us.
Clubs just have different types of resources.
We can not compete with Canberra on cost of living and maybe climate preference or if a Queenslander doesn’t want to leave Queensland, how do we compete with Dolphins?
Every club is going to have different competitive advantages and every player is going to value their preferences differently.
Where resources is a factor, and it seems more and more likely we are lacking, is actually understanding the competitive advantages we have that players value.
I hate that we’re so mediocre. I just don’t think there’s an easy solution. If there was, everyone would be doing it.And an even better question would be why does mediocrity make you stiffer than a triple scotch???
Well it’s still to be seen how successful they will be, but since I started really following the game in the early 90s, the Bulldogs have been one of the more successful Sydney clubs.oh don't be ridiculous...
those clubs have had a long history of success with the exception of the Bulldogs who despite winning 3 premierships since our last one have had a recent transition at board level and have able to land themselves a wealthy benefactor sponsor and probably one of the highest profile figures in the game to oversee and control their football operations.
If you want to fixate on Penrith, you will miss most of the information needed to understand our situation. But if you think demographics are a factor, it’s clear that Penrith has cannibalised a lot of the human and financial resources that used to be inherent to our club.Stop flogging a dead horse and making excuses for these deadbeats in our front office. But as usual, you’ll argue the opposite—probably not even because you believe it, but just to be a antagonist for the sake of it.
We aren’t on the “bottom of the comp on a regular basis”. We are down for the second straight year. Before that we were last in 2018 (making the finals either side of that year) and before that we were down from 2011-2013. There’s nothing regular about our current form at all. It’s an outlier. Are you seriously delusional Pou ? What advantages do we have that don’t apply to at least half a dozen other clubs? Even players who settle down within seven minutes of the CoE can get a small upgrade at Canterbury, Wests or Penrith, and barely need to leave for work any earlier. When Pou says resources, I don’t think he exactly means other clubs have more money or more support or saying those clubs are better than us.

Nah. I think you don’t mind it.I hate that we’re so mediocre. I just don’t think there’s an easy solution. If there was, everyone would be doing it.
Why did we allow it to happen? Incompetence? Stupidity mixed with apathy? If you want to fixate on Penrith, you will miss most of the information needed to understand our situation.
