Duncan has looked like a goer since he came into grade. All the injuries this year has seen him get a lot more experience than would likely have been the case normally and he’s been up front that fast-tracked development.

I still think there is a first grader in Samrani. He certainly has the size, he’s a good trainer, has decent leg speed. He’s not going to be in our top 17 but give him another off-season and he may take an opportunity when it arises next year and surprise some people.
Who knows if Samrani kicks on or not.....but the kid pretty much missed 2 or so years from injuries....he is only 23 and finally been able to get some consistent game time.....yep see how he goes with another NRL offseason and more experience.....

Duncan is 23 and just hit 50 or so games, and suddenly starting to have some stand out games.........

Eels fans want to sack any of our promising players if they aren't starring after 3 games.....

Amazing what 50 NRL games of experience does for a player....

Despite the tough year for Souths

Tallis Duncan is turning into a quality player that i reckon plays for NSW one day.

Reckon Cam Murray has a lot to do with his development in the background.

Would love someone like a Duncan coming through our young lot that just works hard but has versatility like a Marata in a pinch can play outside backs.

Samrani doesn't cut it IMO.

We don't have someone like that at all coming through in CUP or Flegg you need to go all the way to Matt's to find a player like that in Polley, let's hope the club doesn't get him fat and turn him into a plodding middle..

3 games? That's 2 games too many!

He is an example of why you don't give up on players because they haven't made it as a 20 year old in the NRL..

Blows my mind.

if you’d told me at any point this year people would be campaigning for a possible future star in Da Silva to be dropped for Joey Lussick I’d have died in hysterics - but here we are….

But we will avoid the spoon with Dean and Lussick ffs!

Who has done that?

The whole discussion on this, is about players pushing up into NSW cup by 20 is a good indication of NRL potential.....

Anyhow Duncan played Cup at 20 and NRL at 21....all aligns and further supports this.

It's not hate, it's just a different political view than yours, yet you continually defame anything Arthur.

You see the difference ?
Is that any different from the constant defamation of Trump, Dutton, Christianity, and every other conservative leader? Or does Arthur get a free pass just because he strolls around barefoot?

Can you see the hypocrisy?

Duncan is also 23 this year, and debuted at 21, when not a single Eels fan would’ve been excited about him. He is having a breakout season, at an age when players should be expected to have breakout seasons. It should give some perspective to merkins complaining the likes of Kautoga, Guymer and Tuivaiti aren’t first graders.

Tuivati looks the goods
Kuatgo looks like he can be average
Guymer looks like he tackle machine with zero ability to run ball

I can see R360 going the way of the Grand Slam Track Club, fanciful money from mysterious investors where the profit margin and fan support just isn’t there

Sad demise for a club great.

But all the clowns in the media who bagged Ryles and the Club at the start of the year for the ruthless call have all gone quiet.

Peter Fitzsimons, Paul Crawley, Dean Ritchie, Phil Rothfield are definitely ones who criticised the decision.

I recall Brent Read at the time said it was the right call and History will show Ryles first main call was the right one.
