No he’s more powerful and played reserve grade at a younger age.
as it has nothing to with the conversation as your point.I watched the game against Norths. At first didn't know who the "Tyrell Fuimaono" look alike was....he is a big boy.No he’s more powerful and played reserve grade at a younger age.

Hopefully he can remain mobile enough for the edge, wouldn't be surprised if had a big offseason and starts in the NRL early next year....it seems the Ryles way...
Did they have shoes on at least.
Sounds like all ADHD traits...........anyhow the kid was only 15.....I wouIdnt judge any kid as a "turd" because of his behaviour at 15.....
So what was your recommendation? I hope it was beige and turd brown!

Now whilst I agree somewhat that it’s easier to keep them then to sign externally, these best young talents are years away, it’s likely they’ve got at least one other contract to sign before they enter NRL. Even when they enter NRL, they’ll likely still be at least 1-2 years from being a good player.
Also we’ve already got a few in system, Fletcher, Ralagi, Coinakis, JFI, Tuivati, Papalii, Smith are all Australian Schoolboys and Ryles has already commented on our need to develop these players.
Tuivati if he improves his weaknesses has a real opportunity.
Kautoga - average is fine. People got excited when we were linked to Luke Garner FFS.
Guymer I think will be a decent squad member outside top 20 or so. A fine enough player if we have 2 quality, high minute backrowers and one of them is injured and you need Guymer to come in and play high minute, low risk. Alternatively he needs to hit the squat rack hard
Have you seen our lower grades? We have plenty of our own talent. Even first grade has more under 21s than most.
The talk is Gutho will be moved into the lock role (sort of aligns with them chasing Douehi for the role)
Interestingly it's what Ryles wanted to do, but couldn't offer Gutho a new deal until he saw how he went. I reckon he wouId have been pretty good there. Think he could have played 60-80 mins there, which is probably Walkers biggest issue, he can't.
And I expect he gets paid as such. If we want to pick on offering nothing from centre, how about that overpriced f$%kwit who seems to be an automatic selection since he was a baby. The bloke is another Waqa Blake. Penisini is absolutely terrible!
I think Walker has shown how Ryles wants the lock to play. If Guymer is going to be used as a lock then he definitely needs some bulk to play more like Hopgood where he can move to prop when the middle half style lock is on fieldPersonally, I'm fine with Guymer being in the team, as an 80-minute lock forward to tackle everything.
He will never have a good attacking game, but he's a hard-working defender.
I think Kautoga will surprise many, tbh.

Not for $1m. It's a no for me.He'd be game-changer if we somehow nabbed him.
Would Gutho have done a better job than Walker, so you reckon?
I love Gutho - Eels great, in my eyes -, but his body is giving up on him, which is really sad.

Gutherson is an ass hole. Did everyone forget how he threw the club under the bus at every contract negotiation, and him saying through his management that the Eels are an embarrassment
That's your captain for you. f**k Gutherson
And he should never be regarded as an Eels great. He is the embarrassment to.this club.
