Matterson was on an elite trajectory at Roosters and was good early at the Tigers. He has some sort of personality issue though and doesnt get on with team mates. Roosters let him go early and so did Tigers. Tigers were happy to see the back of him, I assume Roosters were too.
He looks a strange cat if I could put it in a nice way.
He never seemed like he was personally close to any of his team mates the whole time here at Parra.
Just looked very individualised. And some of the decisions he has made throughout his career have reflected that.
After a game on the field you would never see him joking around or look tightknit with a team mate or opposition player that they were best buddies.
And whenever he scored a try it was pretty similar reaction.
On social media you rarely saw him hanging out with team mates in a non club capacity.
