Hannay looks like a YES man. And a bit of a pussy. He may turn out a great coach.
Ryles has a sense of a strong leadership presence about him where you have to earn his respect. This - I'm the boss and a bit of a father figure vibe. He may turn out a bust. But I really like his energy and I think 27/28 the premiership drought ends.

That spoon was caused by the fallout of the salary cap scandal. We weren’t allowed to recruit until we cleared the decks and by time we did it was too late for 2018 recruitment (which started in November 2016). That’s why our recruitment was so good for 2019. Nearly a dozen of the 2018 side never played NRL again.

Must of just been bad luck huh?? We were favoured to be a top 4 side after our 2017 run.

I just showed you how poor our 2018 side was. If we were ‘favoured’ it was obviously by merkins with no idea. The 2017 side overachieved to finish top four.

Feels weird no one in here is talking about this… DT saying Pezet will be at the Eels in 2026 and Broncos 27 and beyond in a deal the first of its kind.

Only first reaction from me but I don’t like it. So it helps us for 2026 then back to the drawing board for 27? To me it feels like we are just giving away a yes as it’s not like we’ll challenge for a premiership. And I’m even if we do well, he’s gone in 27.

Assuming the master plan revolves around our #6 options in house?

Lorenzo will have another 2 pre seasons into him by 2027 and hopefully a full 12 months in NSW Cup.

Its the only explanation I can come up with this idiotic deal.

There is no logic

so he and Moses strike up an awesome combo and we kiss it goodbye and start again in 27.
There is zero upside to this for us unless we win the comp in 26, that’s it.
