How many merkins at the club were there even ten years ago? Paulo and Matterson? And both have left and returned since then.I have no faith in the decisions made by a sporting franchise that has won nothing in 39 years
Doesn't mean he will be much good. Id be suprised if he is still elite by 2028. Same as Munster.
Where will Pezet play 6 Or 7 ?. If they play him at 7, the only club they are helping is the Broncos for the following season.

The bit about recruitment and retention was interesting but not surprising:
Some more clarity around the responsibilities of the HC
And how do you define success? We are apparently the third most valuable brand in the country. Is that the kind of success you're talking about?
He's got a bit of Gibson vibe about him. I hope he finds the same level of success, at our club at least.Jesus Christ he is still a f**king imposing man. He looks in good shape still too.
I reckon he’s still got a firey disposition a lot of the time.
ps Grest share, thank you.
Every business decision carries risk. The club knows that but do you?Lucky for us the club has never been wrong
Him too*Katoa

He is 20 years old ffs. Already got 29 try assists and defending at about 90%I'm yet to be 100% convinced Galvin is a generational talent. He hasnt come under the pump yet. Sides will start to do there homework on him. His got a lovely short ball and not a nice long pass but that's a bit of a bit hit and miss. He reads the game well also. But does tend to force the pass when it may not be on.
His acceleration is slow for a modern half. His defense seems ok as he is a big body. His long kicks are just average. Just doesn't have a huge boot. His short kicking games ok.
I mean will he meet Moses level? Will be hard. He is half the speed and his long kicks are 30% less.
People say oh he will be a lock. A lock forward must have a powerfull run game firstly and make 35+tackles.
Time will tell. I think its safe to say he will play 10yrs in NRL. I wouldnt say he is 100% to play origin but just yet.
The problem is his defence. I'm keen to see where he ends up next. I feel it's fullback or nothing for him.Twidle should reinvent himself and become a goal kicking centre if Papalii goes back to fullback

Goal setting then. How many more games should we win with Pezet than without him?I disagree and I'd say the club believes so as well, assuming they do sign him for one year.
I'll let you work that out.Is this passive agressive?
Two of those blokes were poor defenders and played in a dinner suit.Tim Smith, Ash Taylor,D.Brown all were amazing at age 20 as well.
Maybe not but he is at least in the conversation. I'm certain neither of Pezet or Talataina are generational talents. And I never said he isn't going to be a very good player. D.Brown is a very good player but still at the age of 20 I thought he was a generational talent.
I said im not convinced he is a "generational talent"
It just depends on the quality of team they play in.The next Moses,Grant,Munster,Cleary etc. That's generational talent.
It's moot (lol) because we won't be able to compare 2026-with-Pezet vs 2026-without-him. We might come close to a comparison if he plays exactly half a season, but as I've said, 12 games is too small a sample to draw any conclusions. For example, we could play better teams in the 12 games with him than without, or we could have more players either available or unavailable during his 12 games.Goal setting then. How many more games should we win with Pezet than without him?
