Parra should tell Lomax to piss off if he tries to comeback

Yes his yardage is elite but other than that he would be the slowest winger in the comp and his aerial ability is overrated

His money could be better spent elsewhere

None of them should be shat on, just like none of them should be talked up as infallible. I just want some measured discussion about the game, not this everyone-is-either-shit-or-amazing smoothbrain dichotomy this place always seems to sink into.

I think in most cases players should be held to account especially by loyal fans.

I reckon we tell him if you want to come back you have to take even less money or go enjoy japanese rugby.

I dont get where this talk of lomax being the slowest winger comes from... hes not actually that slow. No JAC but not bottom tier speed either. Hes also great in the air and created lots of awesome plays for us. We defs overused that play so made it look worse that it seemed. Lomax is a really good player especially at the 650k mark and unlikely we replace his talent for similar money (unless we get the cows winger?). He does however try to be the hero too often and makes some real dumb fkn plays but thats just what u get from him.

Lomax won’t be asking to come back

He might get a fight or two boxing but it takes years to become adequate enough at MMA to fight in a big enough show to make bank.
boxing maybe for the novelty value. He’ll never make anything from MMA.
Ps what a bizarre story Lomax has turned out to be. He’s going to be a trivia question in years to come. Possibly the dumbest decision on the face of it that I have ever seen.

You constantly come to enemy territory where your opinion is not only not wanted nor asked but actively opposed on account of the fact you're from the enemy camp, yet your presence is somehow not only tolerated but actively celebrated by degenerate Parra fans.

I don't care what they say but want it on the record, I'm 100% with Legal Eel who has precisely decimated you several times before and demand your eradication from the Eels forum, or your submission to and defenestration before the mighty Blue and Gold!

To win the g/f you need 2 important ingredients imo along with decent to good players in other positions.

One is a good spine, and we're almost there with one of the better spines, and hopefully the young players will improve even more this year.

The other is an aggressive pack of forwards and we're a long way short there. I reckon all the good coaches who've won premierships know that and that is the reason Roosters sacked May, good player but lacks mongrel, the quintessential gentle giant. NAS would help provide that for us, with the downside of penalties and suspensions, but I don't see that hard edge in our other forwards. Maybe the coaches can install that in our young forwards coming thru but until we have that I highly doubt we'll win anything soon!

Fairly sure you have been stinking up the place since you decided to create an account..

I didn't use AI btw

I also just replied to you on clubs that signed Taylor you or I didn't say head coach.
It shows he was still valued in the NRL. He may not want to be a head coach again after stinking it up at Souths and Wests.
he was employed as HEAD coach at the Tigers and he was crap. So crap he is one of only two coaches sacked at the worst team in the last 11 years.

he has never been re-employed as head coach anywhere else.

No because his defence is ordinary. But he was one of the best playmakers in the game. He hasn't been since 2023.
Cant agree with this at all. Moses best years are in front of him. Watching him over the next couple of years may open your eyes as to how pigeon holed his game was under BAs simple basic footy approach. He was another player who initially benefited from a simple role that cut out a lot of the confusion in his game but I promise you he’s had his eyes opened to things he’s excited about. Also physically he was a bad defender as a younger player but he’s always been a smart defender which has seen it all come together as he’s matured.
Ryles has touched a bit on how he wants his game evolving to playing off the 9 more and not getting stuck in also prepping for tackle 5 when there might be half chances he can attack earlier in the set . For years his success was based on counting numbers and his kicking game . A healthy Moses will elevate his game from here .

More to the point Mixed Martial Artists make significantly lower money than boxers do. If he’s after a quick payday it’ll be under the Marquis of Queensberry rules.

At least he still has his kicking game.
