I have tickets. My bro bought them. Not sure how? If I find out he’s a Storms member I’m not sure what I’ll do.S
Still can't see ticket sales open on NRL site.

I doubt Kolomatagi being flown down in a helicopterSurely there's rules against financial inducements towards players you are trying to sign.
counts towards Dragons 27 capI recall something like that yes. Good submission. Was listening to Bloke in a Bar yesterday. Is it true that Storm released Ryles on a condition that he not poach any Storm players for XX months ?
Seems unfair. Restraint of trade even.![]()
Paying legal fees, school fees can be seen as an inducement as otherwise it would have to come out of a players pocket. Flying someone in a helicopter or plane to come see a teams facilities is different as no player would leave their home if they had to pay for it.I doubt Kolomatagi being flown down in a helicoptercounts towards Dragons 27 cap
Found them. You need to go directly to Ticketec site and book them. nrl.com still not showing link to buy tix.I have tickets. My bro bought them. Not sure how? If I find out he’s a Storms member I’m not sure what I’ll do.
The matter is scheduled for a two-day hearing before Justice Francois Kunc starting next Thursday.
However the court was told during a directions hearing late on Friday afternoon that the matter could spill into the first week of next month starting on Monday, March 2.
Significantly, the NRL competition kicks off with two games in Las Vegas the day prior, and the Storm and Eels meet for their season opener on Thursday, March 5.
“I must indicate to the parties, by way of return serve, to mix my sporting metaphors, that … prima facie one shouldn’t split hearings,” Justice Kunc told the court on Friday.
“And whatever else may happen, it will be for the defendants (Lomax) to tell me why there would be terrible consequences if we don’t deal with everything in the first week of March.”
The matter will now return for further directions on Monday afternoon.
The nasty side of me hope this drags out if there is nothing in it for us. I genuinely don’t think it will be a distraction at all. The players and crew will be focused on the season ahead and as far as they are concerned it’s completely removed from them.Update on the Lomax case from news.com.au
I didn't paste the whole article because most of it was just background which we all know.

I dare say that most players would think LoGrub is an absolute peanut who thought the grass is greener and have little sympathy.
We are not paying LoGrub, there is almost no downside let him tie himself up in legal debt till his hearts content.

Plenty of RL players are of questionable intelligence, I doubt most of them recognise it.I would think a few players would think Merkinmax is of questionable intelligence, leaving a guaranteed contract, to try to join a competition that was flooded with issues from day one, and was never a guaranteed source of income....
Maybe not most, but I'd think some current players are looking at Lomax, and thinking he made a bad decision.Plenty of RL players are of questionable intelligence, I doubt most of them recognise it.
I’m pretty sure the agreement was that Ryles couldn’t take any coaching staff with him. Nothing to do with the players
