Why would I say Finch helped us to a grand final? I know full well we played against the merkin in our last ever finals appearance.

My point was that Origin plodders are still solid first graders who can help teams to a grand final. Just because they never helped us to a grand final doesn't mean they can't help another team (or us in the future) to reach the dizzying heights of runners up on grand final day.

Watching Peats last night after being out for 6 weeks, I would take him back in a heart beat.

His line speed in defense was so so crucial for us we miss him badly. People bag his service but I don't think it's that bad his a guy who will give you 100% week in week out and I think people forget how big of a loss for us he was as was Paulo.

Really hope he makes a return to us I will be delighted.

I think we all realise that Peats is a fine player and could bring a lot to our team. The only concern is his injury history. He has never played a full season of FG, and has had more than one season-ending injury.

I don't think we'll go after either of them as we already have our halves.

The only position we're really sorted for is the two halves. Outside of that there is plenty of room for improvement in the sqaud.
