Blaize missed 9 tackles tonight, which is not good for a 5/8 , think 2 tries came from his misses. He’s In a good system but when specifically targeted it’s another question on him.
Eels showed the league how to beat the riff by going through talagi and mcclean. Pity we dont have the resilience and capability to tackle for 80 minutes.
Dogs also specifically targeted Milky who also looks like also has an error in him. As much as I dislike the dogs they were very good and commited

I think Iongi overall is a better player than Blaize and if we are being fair dinkum vastly better than Joash (who should be released).
Won’t be long till Bamblett comes knocking. Kids got it. I’m imagining after Ball he’ll jump a few grades this year. He played some flegg last year. One of the best Naturals we have coming through since the O6/O7 batch which brought us Hayne Inu etc.

The only thing that will hamper his career is if the TCT give him the Kiss of death just like the other victims.

The problem with Blaize is he was gifted a spot in first grade without doing his apprenticeship against men in NSW cup.

I want MON to stick around until at least the end of the year so 60’s and the TCT can keep slapping him with that flaccid wet lettuce while making sure they don’t jeopardise their access to Sterlo’s Bar for those “riveting” pre-game shows.
Leave 60s and forty's alone as there being trialled as a new cure for insomnia

I actually think Critta being out simplified there whole game plan and helped everyone else.

Ciraldo has been doing too much moving around the past few weeks to get Critta's hands on the ball where Burton has struggled because his probably on eggshells about being wtf is going to be playing in the 50th min and its been a flow on effect to other parts of his & there game.

The spine all knew they would be there for 80 mins and there would be no chopping and changing probably helped them all relax and being able to focus.

A very simple but succinct observation from me is that, we sign Joash who was discarded by the dogs, yet someone like Apa who clearly has the talent as a non priority, and now several clubs chasing him and Parra once again left holding their pecker

I like him as well. But his ceiling is probably a bottom 4 NRL fullback I imagine. Nothing wrong with that. But we have better ones on the books.

Joash's ceiling is where he's at now, bench/reserve, I don't know why we're talking about him as a regular starter..?

he's no more than a squad member and a decent one, but that's it.

the issue there is a bloke like Apa doesn't quite have a defined position and if we're being honest we're probably well covered in the 1/6/7 through the whole club.

1/ Iongi, Joash, Bamblett, Davis

6/7 Moses, Talataina, Flertcher, Risati, maybe Lui ?

I think his ceiling is probably as 5th option on bench where his ideal role is when you are already dominating the ruck and you bring him on as positionless player to just terrorise through the tired middle with his quickness.

I’m not sure I see us as a ruck dominating team in the near future though. Twidle may be the better fit then head to head
