No as defined previously in this thread a fact is a fact by definition. it cant be shaky. My knowledge of the fact is secure. Your acceptance or knowledge of that fact is shaky, but was never going to survive the cognitive dissonance going on in your mind. No idea who Dibs is, what he has seen. I have no reason to believe him or disbelieve him. I also have no reason to require any information outside of what I already know, to know.

I never enjoy an interloper from another club dropping in to a Tigers forum when the issue of the day involves them so Ill make good on my exit despite your touching pleas to stay . We all have our own passions for what is going on. I've tried to be polite and respectful.

Look guys this might be where I duck out with any preserved dignity. We are approaching a point of diminishing returns. Just as a few of you guys have accused me of pumping up this $ 850K figure to make myself feel better about him leaving, many of you guys are clinging to a hope of $700K to make yourselves feel better about his signing.

My parting words are, he is signed by Parra for $850K. This is known by me as a fact. . You will know yourselves in time but you can accellerate this acceptance if you ask yourself truly if it makes sense for much hyped player who is currently on $600K in a massively overinflated players market, with an increasing salary cap, with an offer of just south of $900K on the table from my current club, with 6 months still to negotiate would LEAP so quickly into a contract with noted powerhouse Parra for just a $100K more?

Honestly, if Brett Kenny is your main source of truth for what he's getting paid, then don't go putting your lunch money on it ... kenny has no involvement at the club - and we arent the leaky boat anymore

I reckon he'll be on around 750k with another $100k TPA, which is where Tiger5150 is getting his figure from. However, it's not the full 850k on our salary cap which is really the only thing that matters from our end.

Being an NRL owned club perhaps the Tigers didn't have any TPA component so the actual $ amounts are similar but how it affects our cap and remaining roster is significantly different.

This would at least make Dibs and Tigers5150 claims both accurate.
