I agree with the duke thou that nrl are useless. One for parra vs panthers only once this year and 2nd it gets the worse time slot at 3pm on a saturday when jnr league is on everywhere. Ha the nrl just keep shooting themself in foot.

Well FMD, every merkin was crying out for Saturday arvo footy a couple of seasons back - "Bring back Saturday arvo footy, it's the best!" was plastered all over the place... and now its the worst timeslot ever!!!

Stuffs it for some of us, have to choose between grandsons junior footy or the NRL

Fortunately, someone videos the junior game, but the time slot is painful for people involved or interested in junior league.

Much prefer a 5.30/7.30 Saturday game which is more people friendly or a Sunday arvo time slot. As expected Toddy Boy is his usual helpful self in making our club a powerhouse, incompetent myth

Same. Best time of the weekend for footy, especially if you have young kids who you want to bring to games.

Growing up in the sticks, that was the only game we got to see live (and often the only game we got to see PERIOD), with John O'Reilly and Reg Gasnier on the mikes. I still love it when they put a 3pm Sat game on. Different strokes I guess....I see why it isn't convenient for some others.

Saturday 3pm was the only game we got to watch when I was a kid, we only got abc. Sunday morning was spent sitting around the radio listening to the call and waiting for the around the grounds if the eels weren't the game being called
