Last season he averaged 9m a run. And less than 90m per game. He made as little as 48m in 30 odd mins and as many as 142 in 40 odd. 9 or 10 or 15m a run is little use if you only make 4 runs
I'm following just fine. He is nothing like David Klemmer at this stage and two very good games and one solid one this season doesn't make him a top flight forward. He is a big body with plenty of potential who sometimes turns up and chews off plenty of metres, and sometimes plays like Justin Poore in a moonboot. I've never suggested he's a bad signing, I just feel like you're getting a bit too carried away.
Aren't you the one getting carried away?
9m per run is excellent for a prop (for any forward!)
He is built quite a lot like David Klemmer
at this stage and runs the ball with similar gusto.
Nobody has a perfect run every time.
Nobody is saying he is Origin level.
I am suggesting he is
not at all like Darcy Lussick in playstyle and providing an alternative playstyle to compare him to, while at the same time using the commonly accepted 'lite', which in sporting terms evokes images of someone who has a similar playstyle, but is nowhere near as good.
How am I getting carried away by saying he isn't like Lussick, because he isn't a plodding defensive hitter, but more of a damaging ball runner?
