Are you going out on a limb and saying that Moses is rubbish and a disaster signing ?

No, but to be honest I'm 50/50 on the signing at the moment and will reserve judgement until he arrives. I hope it works out though, because it's going to be a big part of the teams success or failure over the next 2 to 3 years.

Fence sitting is for whimps.

Have a go ya mug.

I think both Moses and Norman make poor decision at crucial times, so we will see if they improve as decision makers playing together or whether it just leads to double the amount of poor decisions.

Ok I'm going to let it all out...

I would of preferred Reynalds to Moses and felt he would of complimented the side a bit better, I have grave concerns about carrying spot men in the team ..

I still am not convinced that Reynolds isn't better suited to the hooker role. It's probably just his defence over 80 minutes that would limit his role. Good player but I also think his brain explosions at times costs his team way too often.

Moses has a decent long and short kicking game and isn't a bad goal kicker. I don't think it will be bad for him having a more experienced player in the halves with him. He is a good support player as well. I'm happy with him coming to the club and I can see him really finding his feet under Arthur.

I think both Brooks and Moses will benefit from being split up and playing with an experienced partner.

I will go as far to say that of the halves we have signed in the past, outside of Foran, he has a better upside to players like Dykes, Sandow and Roberts among others that have been signed to the halves.

Based on BA's comments (or is that what people have said that BA said), he thinks he can make Moses into a elite half.

Accordingly, I he wants Norman to be more of a free spirit and (eventually) not have to worry about running the team.

I like what I see with Moses. I think that we paid overs for where his is at his game, so we are paying for potential. Unfortunately there is definitely a "boom" period for off contract players right now so we had to pay what the market dictates.

Tigers offered him a million a season and then took it off the table.

Given the money that the Tigers have reportedly paid to get Reynolds I think we have made a better deal and still have money to add some players as well.

Moses will kill it at Parra.

i think you missed the point. If he had re-signed with you and gave other players a spray you guys would be calling it passion, but because he is leaving it's petulance.
In saying that it's not a shot at Tigers fans in particular, fans of all clubs tend to do the same.

Perhaps you are right about some fans thoughts in relation to his attitude but my opinion about his abilities have been been on record here long before he decided to leave , so its definitely not a knee jerk petulant reply based on anger . Actually the opposite as im glad it panned out the way it did.
Hopefully for Parra he can reach somewhere close to his talked up abilities , but i really cant see him ever becoming anymore than just another nrl player.

What was Norman when he came to the Eels?
A skinny 23 year old fringe first grader who was very bad defensively. He is now an excellent defensive half (and all round half!!)

Moses is streets ahead of where Norman was in attack at the same age. I have high confidence BA will help him defensively.

It's funny that tigers supporters need to come on here and tell us that Moses is shit. If you don't rate him,WE DON'T f**kING CARE!

Just be happy with $950k a year dud you've signed from the Dogs, because he's got "passion" lol

Agreed. If nothing else, our much better defensive structure should reduce the number of times he is isolated and forced to make one-on-one tackles.

I disagree , yes he would be trying harder i guess but ive watched him come through the grades and the negatives in his game havnt improved in the slightest ...infact the more confident he has become the more stupid the plays he comes up with.
He can be a good runner of the ball BUT when under pressure will just offload to anything or anybody around him to avoid contact , be misses a million tackles or just uses the go for the intercept play just to totally avoid having to make a crucial tackle on the line . His kicking game is woefull wether it be his short or long kicks.
His attitude towards team mates stinks and has always been like that and i cant see it changing. He has been lucky at the Tigers growing up with friends who accept his behavior on the field but i can see the older players in the team arent fans . There is nothing worse than being berated by someone with less ability who think they are mistake free superior to their team mates.
Also ill just add he has played without any significant high impact injuries , like Teddy with broken jaws , smashed knee cap etc ... i think his reluctance to avoid impact would become far worse if he should ever experience a similar injury.

Mac

Arthur won't allow him to get away with that lazy approach in defence anymore. One thing BA prides his coaching on is his defensive structures. He was the defensive coach at Manly in 2011 which transformed their D. Ours has been our strong point since the coach came aboard so Moses will most likely improve in defence. Look at Pritchard he has nothing on him and he's improving week by week with his work load and tackle efficiency.
