I'm hearing some chatter that Tedesco hasn't signed yet and Parramatta have put forward a really lucrative deal. He wants to stick with Moses who he recently moved into an apartment with and Parra are willing to give the Tigers Beau Scott and Clint Gutherson to sweeten the deal. Cleary has stated you're either on the bus or off it so, with Tedesco not on the bus he is all for this deal.

As if, Scott yes, Gutho no. Give them Alvaro or Terepo instead. Better still O'Brien & Scott.

Id imagine that our backline will look like this

1 Bevan
2 Hoffman
3 Jennings
4 Gutherson
5 GL
6 Norman

If we sign Semi do we cut GL ? or do we try and get rid of Hoffman? I do not see this kid hanging around for 2 more season in reserves. Other clubs will be aware of him now. Could be a potential guy where get great value out of the salary cap over the next few season. Aren't we better off taking advantage of it rather then using him when he costs full amount? Kind of like what we have done with SEMI.

We also have Takarangi who would be on top 17 money with Hoffman. Would be silly to have both in WENTY.

Ideally if we can shuffle Hoffman and Taka and keep Semi everyone wins. This is the reason you have a good junior set up - To take advantage of these situations.Not to give them to other clubs.

There'd be no shortage of tpa's for semi. 5-600k plus some tpa's and we have a bargain

I dont think Hoff would be on more than 150k and he can play fullback and winger. Possibly centre. Good depth signing and he won't cost us Semi if we want to keep Semi.

Issue is both those guys Hoffman and Taka - I doubt be huge demand and we would have to pay some freight. Unless UK come. If they only had one year it be a different story. Hoff IMO should never been offered more then 2 yrs. He isn't a make or break player.

I'm worried about Taka now.. He already had one knee strapped up when he hurt the other one, never a good thing.

Any source re Taka. 3 years sounds a lot but if true, he is a great utility player and seems to be a very good clubman.

Reckon he is on at least $300k which isn't really that expensive for a player of his experience and the ability to play several positions.

Some may question the Hoff's ability but it's round 10, and he really hasnt done everything wrong. Yeah no superstar but safe and does the basics right!!

What is the average NRL salary? 300k is a lot for a depth winger/fullback in a 25 man squad.

We're all specualting of course, but I'd suspect Hoffman is on something closer to the 300K figure that @Joshuatheeel threw up than 150K...
