Hoffman is solid a first grader which all premiership winning teams need to win a comp. He wont win you games and make line breaks like semi but will do the little things that dont get noticed that help you win games of footy.

Tedesco can't backflip to join the eels if he's signed with the roosters. He can only backflip to stay at his current club. And if he hasn't signed with the roosters why would we be offering a player swap if he's off contract. Only outcome IF there's a player swap is for this season. And no way will BA let go of guthbus.

If GL becomes better than Hoffman there is no reason BA won't pick him over Hoffman, and we'll still be able to pay GL around backup money for his first senior contract . Hoff is not on big money and is a versatile back, he's a very good backup if that becomes his role. And late in his career there's no reason he won't hang around....and if he doesn't want to then we release him.

That's the way it used to be. I don't think it is now.

What is the average NRL salary? 300k is a lot for a depth winger/fullback in a 25 man squad.

Hoffman isn't depth, he is a mature, experienced first grader.

No. I saw Goodal and Lavaka. My impression of those 2 where 2 powerfull islanders who just ran over top of guys due to early body development.

Honestly Tui Aifalou and Akafalou would fit closer to their mould, however both do look faster and more skillfull at this stage then either.

GL looks quite special. Titans fans would be burning. We got ourselves a good one here.

He may of only agreed to the terms but not signed anything, So it would be a backflip on his word not the contract. Who said he has signed anything with any club?
