Actually scrolling down you get

Manu apparently is owed TPAs and his manager is looking for options to break contract. Perhaps someone should point out our salary cap transgressions to the manager and say "see what happens when you don't actually do your job" - http://rugbyleagueweek.com.au/manly-join-race-manu/

And the third thing we learned out of this week's game was apparently Nathan Peats "has an astute kicking game out of dummy half." Would of been handy if he knew that for the past 2 and half years - http://rugbyleagueweek.com.au/five-things-learned-titans-v-eels/

It annoys me when they say things like this, What do his TPA have to do with his playing contract? They act like being dudded TPA's is the clubs fault. They say it about all clubs too, not just us. Now, granted, Manu's TPA's are probably dodgy, so they have a point, but it still annoys me that the media can all this an excuse, and talk about it like it's completely ok, when owed TPA monies should be between manager and Third Party, so looking to leave the club SHOULD be of no consequence...

According to ^^ link. Roosters released Joe Burgess to Souths and then Souths released him after a few games to Wigan ? Ouch.

Was always the case. Roosters allowed him to go home to England and Souths enquired about using him for the remainder of the season.

As the majority of the TPA's have now been included as part of the cap can't we just pay them anyway?

Fair question. From the cap perspective....should be ok.

Whether an administrator of the PLC will approve payment of an amount that is not a liability of the PLC might be less clear. The administrator might put themselves in a tricky legal position.

Can someone here please give a list of possible halves that we could acquire to partner Norman from other clubs?

Some possibles:

Elgey (coming from a ACL). Titans already may have settled on their halves.

Moses. (May have an option in his contract if JT is not the coach). Long shot though.

Lolohea (heard this rumour has legs)

Blake Green (the only one off contract that I know of)

Sam Williams (is he is off contract?)

Anyone know of any others in the lower grades? Some kid at Cronulla apparently goes ok.

Williams is shit, no thanks.
Green would be nice, great bloke who will fit into the culture outstandingly and he's a classic half who does everything steadily and to a good standard.
Lolohea is a gun, but probably not the style of player we need...although I wouldn't complain.
Moses is Sandow level bad in defence and again not the style of player we need, he's more like Norman than Foran.
Elgey is quality, but I wouldn't want to throw him in the deep end at his age coming off his injury.

Cameron Cullen might be an option, unlikely he'll get much of a run at the Titans. But we have a kid with plenty of potential in Dargan, so I'm not sure it's worth buying the same level of young half...

Brown is dude from the Sharks, was rumoured to be heading to England. Would be a good project player, there were some wraps on the kid but has be injuries for the last year or so. Played NRL the other week

I've heard Kieran Foran is available.
