Well if you watch practically every team in the nrl, the ability to get out of your own 20 consistently is often alot about the first 3 tackles returning a kick downfield ... if you've defended well and its a shit kick then happy days ... if its a good kick then your wingers and centres generally take the first 3 returns. If they are big n strong then it helps get you going. If you are still on the back foot after tackle 3 then your forwards will prob still struggleUnfortunately Terepo is another lightweight prop that makes little impact with his charges at the line, same as Alvaro and Mannah. But still, according to Pou, a prop is just there to tackle, which he is good at, so as in Dogs game we'll spend all match struggling to get away from our red zone so definitely one to keep (not).
He'd go alright. And if we offer him a four-year contract he might play for peanuts. If Beau Scott doesn't play next year should we look at Luke Lewis? I think he is off contract.
I like the look of that idea. He'd go alright. And if we offer him a four-year contract he might play for peanuts.
If Luke Lewis was playing for Parra, both his recent intercept trys would have been penalties. Just like the rest of the Cronulla side, they always jump the gun in the play the ball. Thats why their line speed is so good. They are getting a dream run off the referees imho.If Beau Scott doesn't play next year we should look at Luke Lewis? I think he is off contract.
If that is the case Pou it then comes down to the coach. Bellamy >>>>BA, but surely BA learnt something from the master when he spent a year there. One thing he should of learnt is that big forwards > small forwards, Storm only ever seem to put a forward onto the paddock that is over 110kg. That has been their formula forever and they have consistently make the finals and won of 70% of all matches they have played. There are only 240 middle forward minutes available, and besides Brown we split ours pretty evenly. Brown is much better than those three. He's a star.
I think you'd be surprised how ordinary Glasby and co would look at Parra right now.

I know its cool to bag the shit out of pou, but the whole bevo is a lightweight winger has some balls and its probably having an affect. Not saying i want him out of the team but there is a price to pay
Baby that definitely is a throw away statement. There are big players and good big players, I only want us to have the latter. We just need the biggest props in the comp and we'll win. It's that simple
Folau would be a bit slow for prop. And who is Speh?Phil wants Falou at prop on other site.
Gutherson too hooker a d Speh to halfback
Be one dynamic team.
Maybe he means Seph Paulo, from back when Phil wanted him at 7 a few years back...Folau would be a bit slow for prop. And who is Speh?
15 games, 10 runs per game, 87m, 26 tackles, 1 missed tackle
15 games, 10 runs per game, 91m, 25 tackles, 1 missed tackle.
One of these players is State of Origin prop Tim Glasby, one is Daniel Alvaro.
*I'm dropping it now....f**k Tim Glasby but*

Yeah gotta be. That's not mental at all.Maybe he means Seph Paulo, from back when Phil wanted him at 7 a few years back...
No it comes down to their overall squad. When you have stars in key positions plus dominant leadership on the field it makes everyone else's job easier. Did you know only one Melbourne middle forward (NAS) made 100 metres in the huge win over Brisbane? In the Roosters loss it was only two (Glasby and Finucane) and in the win over the Cowboys it was only Bromwich making 100 metres. If that is the case Pou it then comes down to the coach.
Nothing to do with their spine?Bellamy >>>>BA, but surely BA learnt something from the master when he spent a year there. This year we've beaten the following packs with speed and footwork:Baby that definitely is a throw away statement. There are big players and good big players, I only want us to have the latter.
The old saying its not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog holds true, both Scott and Brown are lightweight forwards but both have mongrel in spades. When they run they make an impact but eventually throwing a lightweight body against bigger bodies takes its toll. Both desperately need help before the toll becomes a burden.
