Bit of character assassination going on here about Lodge. I've only ever heard of his trouble in US so have no idea what else he has done, if anything, but from the article has learnt his lesson. Now has responsibilities of a wife/gf and baby on way.

Sometimes people take a while to mature, and perhaps Lodge has done that now, where they settle down and become a decent citizen. Regardless, everyone deserves a second chance (depending on their crime). Its better to have someone productive than one still committing crimes to survive.

There's a bit of a difference between a little ratbag behaviour in one's youth, and invading someone's apartment and telling them that 'this is the night you're going to die', then assaulting people who come to help them. I genuinely hope he has sorted out his mental issues....but man.....can you imagine how it will look if he signs up and does anything remotely similar again.
