Im sure they do. But not as closely as own club. If we wanted we could keep. Depends where staff rate him
I think what you mean is that we'll at least have a better idea of where he is at objectively - measured against performance baselines plus getting a look at his day-to-day attitude. Other clubs only get to see his on-field performances, which are heavily influenced by the quality of his team mates and opposition, who are all reserve graders at this point.

Semi Radradra has told Parramatta he has no intentions of rejoining the club next year

PARRAMATTA fans won’t be happy to hear it but Semi Radradra has told the Eels he has no intentions of rejoining the club next year.

The club had held hope Radradra could make a rugby league comeback once his commitments with Toulon finish midway through next year’s NRL season. But Radradra is committed to trying his hand at the 15-man game and at this stage wants to see out his rich two-year deal in France.

The flying winger has also ruled out any hope of a World Cup farewell to rugby league, insisting he will be France-bound as soon as his NRL season ends with the Eels.

“I’m looking forward to the new challenge,” Radradra said.

“I sent the head coach Fabien Galthie a text message the other week telling him I’m looking forward to joining the team.

“Who knows what will happen in the future, but as of now, there aren’t any plans to rejoin the Eels or another NRL side. My immediate focus is on finishing this season on a high with Parra.”

When Radradra was cleared of domestic violence charges earlier this year, Parramatta tried to entice the 25-year-old to remain.

But he had already committed to Toulon for one season — with an option in his favour for the second year. It would cost Radradra about $440,000 to break the contract. That won’t be happening.

Local media in Fiji suggested Radradra could farewell league with the Bati at the World Cup. “As much as I would have enjoyed playing in another World Cup, I won’t be available for selection,” Radradra said.

“The French season starts in August, and I need to be there as soon as my season with Parramatta finishes.”

i'm sure Uncle Wayne could work some Geeconomics to fit him in

releasing some nuffy NYC player to free up some cap space usually does the trick

He hasn't said he won't come back, just that he doesn't have plans to at the moment.
Even said "Who knows what will happen in the future."
I'm not expecting him to be back next year, but nothing is definite until it's definite.

I wouldn't be planning for the merkin to come back. If we need to sign other top 17 outside backs so there's no space for him then that's what we need to do.

What a sur-f**king-prize.

Alleged grub of the highest order.

Agree we'd be silly to have held a spot open for a mid-season return. Replace merkins that want to leave (like Semi and Hayne), and move on!

Who know's, but if we can't get some kind of commitment from Semi that he intends to return, then we really have to look to replace him permanently.

Mind you, we can only sign what's available, and if the coin is just used on a bit more depth, it's really just rolling the dice to have 200k or so unspent to allow his return.
