I can't believe that Robinson thought so little of their opponents today, that he just didn't play someone he considers a better forward than the blokes he played today.

I'm pretty sure he's been injured. He last played in the round 20 win over Newcastle and made his return for Wyong today. I'm sure Robinson wishes he'd played first grade instead.

But they haven't clicked. For 12 months we've heard that penrith are potentially the most dangerous team in the comp once they put it together but we haven't seen it.

They're mentally weak. They have no attacking structure inside the opp 20. They've only beaten one top 8 team.

Give me penrith any day of the week over a Thurston-less cowboys.

But do we really need to recruit?
We have back ups everywhere. Klemmer might be good but Evans and Meehan might work out.
Semi going but lots of outside backs in the queue. Hooker? King going great, Kaysa to come back and Cody Nelson is a 100% effort player.
Possibly money available is best spent on upgrades and some top u20s outside the club.
If clubs are caught over the cap in 2018 maybe a goodun might become available before June 30.
I guess the success of Moses and King has solved many of our problems.

What about injuries Gazza, we always seem to cop more than our fair share. Meehan mightn't even be allowed to play next year by NRL. I would suggest another 2 good big props are needed. Matt Lodge could be a cheap buy and hopefully Latu will be offloaded by Penrith. Perhaps another hooker would complete the roster imo and we'll be very competitive.

People forget we are playing mainly teams well out of top 8 and whilst being solid are not blowing them off the park, like Maonly did yesterday to Roosters. Only recently beat Dogs and Tigers by 1 and they are hardly top shelf and on Thursday cruised to beat a Dogs outfit that even their fans know are pathetic.

Yawn im a panthers supporter not an eel. Yet i get to wenty games and follow our juniors. Yawn.....

I just know more about footy then yourself. Hindy111# was one of few who predicted we have team capable of winning it while most on here where planning what need for 2018 to be a legit contender.

I tell you now Storm stand out but are beatable. And of every other club in finals contention cowboys, dragons are the only 2 who have no chance of winning it.
4 weeks to go and a lot can happen. If canberra make it they will be dangerous.

If dry we prob beat dogs by more.....

Meehan is 20kgs over wieght. All he is at this stage is a prospect. He charges like a wild bull. But would be in wenty for atleast first 1/3rd of season id imagine.

If Meehan wouldn't be allowed to play next year than I dare say Lodge wouldn't either.
I think you'll find both will be cleared by March next year.
