Brett Morris for a year would be handy.

Kings ok but he gets thrown a little in defense.

Meehans a long way off but potential.

Evans i like but cant make roosters team or is he injured?
What I've noticed about Evans is that Robinson uses him only just as much as he needs him. In close games he's been playing many more minutes, whereas when they get an early lead all the minutes have been going to Tetevano And Liu. I assume he was dropped today because they expected to win anyway. Silly move.

Big difference in the ladder predictor I did based on the broncos game:

Win - we finish 2nd and play the Broncos again at ANZ with a second chance up our sleeves

Lose - we finish 5th and play the Panthers in a sudden death game at ANZ

Well lucky for us that penrith shit the bed when they play a top 8 team. They've only beaten manly this year and off the back of a 14-4 penalty count. If the count was the other way around manly would have won by 40+

Agree but they have the team that could click. So do canberra.
If both won out i wouldnt want to touch them. Id rather play cowboys or saints.

All this coment says that you believe what you want to believe and will twist an argument to exactly the way you want to believe it to happen, without any real evidence.to back up your own argument.

Yeah it's possible. I haven't done a statistical analysis so my perceptions could be wrong. As I often point out to the rest of you, just because you think you see something doesn't mean it's actually happening. To confirm this sort of thing you need to look at more data than what your flawed memory can hold.

I'm using the old footy adage and taking it one week at a time from here on out.
There are simply too many upsets/surprises each week to think about what could happen over the next four rounds.

We need to be beat the Knights and regardless of anything else we are back in 4th (3rd if Sharks and Broncos end up drawn).

After our 1 point win against dogs and tigers our season looked shaky. Two weeks later people are talking us up as a premiership threat.
2 weeks is a long time in football.
My point is that the more dour teams are no less of a threat than the more talented teams.

Edit: But yes, form is important.

*irregardless

Urban Dictionary
Used by people who ignorantly mean to say regardless. According to webster, it is a word, but since the prefix "ir" and the suffx "less" both mean "not or with" they cancel each other out, so what you end up with is regard. When you use this to try to say you don't care about something, you end up saying that you do. Of course everyone knows what you mean to say and only a pompous, rude asshole will correct you.

I can't believe that Robinson thought so little of their opponents today, that he just didn't play someone he considers a better forward than the blokes he played today.

And to be honest Pou Bear, I don't think you believe this either.
