WTF? Half of Cam Smith's passes are forward. That's why he's so good at 'bringing his forwards onto the ball' as merkins call it.

I'm not sure what "bringing the forwards onto the ball" means. I thought they ran up to get it themselves.

If a dummy-half can engage the markers before he passes the ball, then that's a sign of a good hooker. Apart from that, passing the ball to the forwards is pretty simple.
Getting the ball out to your halves in attacking positions on the other hand is quite a bit different.

So far I'm not really all that impressed with Kane Evans performances with the Roosters. He really doesn't windup much when hitting the line. He is so far showing very little controlled aggression that a man of his stature should. Maybe it is due to his Grace Jones, tall lanky style body. Those legs are very thin down the bottom.

I hope BA can work a minor miracle and this guy can actually be an improvement on what we already have. But I am worried.

I don't know how much he cost so I don't know if his form is a worry or not. But if he is not playing better than what we have then he won't get picked. BA specifically recruited him for his body type I believe so I'm sure there's a plan. No need to fret yet Rammy. Hopefully if we play them in the semis he costs them the game.

I have no doubt. I can't think of many BA signings that haven't come good. He seems to extract the best out of players. I know gutho was rated at manly, but did they really think he'd be that good? Brown came to parra as a thug of a player. Look at what ba has done with him. He's almost Bellamy like.
