If he does in fact sign with them, he is most definitely worse than Lyon purely for his exit press conference.

It will also cease any interest I had left in him.

Except Arthur said as recently as yesterday that he wanted him.

So we go into next year with only 1 star in our spine (if Norman has even actually signed). We wont even be close to a top 8 team.

Who is on the market, we either need a marquee fullback or half. Cronk isn't going anywhere, so that leaves no halves. I'm not aware of any fullbacks unless we take one of the Titans scraps (Zillman or Hoffman) but neither are marquee

Yes, I smell a rat too. Maybe NRL had Beavis and Hayne right where they wanted them. Still not happy the NRL didn't do all they could to get Hayne back to us.

Hang on, does this mean he signed 10 days ago?

All in all we are maybe a better team without Hayne. The name and thought was good but lets be honest. He is 29 and out of game for 2 years. He will put some highlights on but since he left we have become a real team.

We also have 2 guys who can play fullback and will cost about 700k less. Both an do a great job. We also now have money up our sleeve. BA can think what he wants and needs.
I am not against Farrah on the cheap for a year.A rampaging front rower and a halfback.

Disappointed in him, but it's not the end of the world. We have got by without him for two years. At least now we can strengthen our front Row and dummy half stocks.

We have Bev and the Guth Bus to play dummy half we just need a competent half to partner Normie.

We do not need a fullback we have bevan and Gutherson

Halfback - hooker - front row.
