Well Pou we might have been shit but he was NEVER going to get us out of it but I mentioned him because after his contract ended we still signed him for another 1 or 2 years. That has been our problem, signing shit players AND keeping them well past their ubd. Once we see they'll never amount to anything that is when we should punt them, that's what all the good teams do! Actually RS did us a favour punting all the shit players we had when he came and bringing in a few good players.

How much do ypu reckon we paid for Kelly? Robson was also signed as a back up. He went on to have some sort of first grade career.
I never minded Kelly. Guys on peanuts are hardly a problem. Mannah who maybe on big dollars but from what i gather we get a reduction on him as been at club so long?.

As I mentioned many moons ago from a guy who knows him. He was saying that Kane Evans was not treated particularly well at the Roosters at all especially considering coming through the system for about 7 years with them. He was playing a role that they asked him to play, not that he wanted to play. Short minutes etc...
He has plenty of pedigree and has told his family he is filthy and is going to Parra as he believes BA can get him back on his path to becoming a top prop in the NRL. He believe he can be an elite prop and BA backs him as well. He has also been saying he has a massive point to prove.
I like him, he will be a good buy.

Well if this is true, then maybe we will see that power and aggression we all saw when he first came onto the scene, but hopefully without the silly penalties. If he can recapture that, then the sky is the limit and BA has once again pulled off a beauty.

I'm sure we will all be watching with great interest on how this one unfolds.

It’s only the RLW Mole, but, he is reporting Cronk will be announced officially on Monday.

More importantly he is reporting Pearce and Friend have been given permission to speak with other clubs.

IF true, I hope we’re having a crack at Friend.

If we are lucky enough to get Friend, then I would be very excited due to what that would do to our bench selection.

The guy is class and an 80 min player, so BA would then be able to stack the bench with boppers all round if he chose to. That is a massive advantage against the better and bigger sides.

I like the no reprieve game plan.

Mind you I think Michael Lichaa would have been an even better buy after watching what he is capable of in the last month of the comp. Oh well to late now.

If this is true I find it a bit mind boggling and pretty poor from the Chooks

Firstly, Pearce is a decent half (but not great) and current SOO half for the Blues and at his peak playing age and 5 years younger than Cronk, yet they have the short sightedness to ditch him for Cronk who has 2 years left at the most and possibly just 1.

Secondly I find their their disloyalty rather staggering.

I think it will be interesting to see how Cronk goes at the Chooks as he has been surrounded by some of the games best players at the Storm, Maroons and the Roos, he wont get it so easy at the Chooks. I do not think he will produce the same form at the Chooks that he did at the Storm.

You forget that he will have Tedesco to work with and they are still a decent team. The did finish 2nd, WITHOUT Tedesco.

I'd say our problem was keeping genuine first graders long past the time we're getting value for money.

Genuine first graders can continue to rise in price if you let them. Backups don't.

Once we see they'll never amount to anything that is when we should punt them, that's what all the good teams do! Actually RS did us a favour punting all the shit players we had when he came and bringing in a few good players.

Stuart just left us with a half completed squad for 2014, which Arthur filled by signing backups and squad players like Kelly, Morgan and Joseph Paulo.

I like Hindy. He cops a bit of shit when he throws things out there but he always takes it in good humour and knows how to give it back.

Also, when he comes up with his theories he doesn't do it in a condescending way where he bags out others for not being as smart as him for not thinking of it. Some people could learn from that.

Add Latrell will blossum. Bar injuties the roosters should win the title.
I just cant find many weakness in squad. But it only takes on injury to bring them back the the field and they will never have the same team spirit of what the eels seem to have.
