How much do ypu reckon we paid for Kelly? Robson was also signed as a back up. He went on to have some sort of first grade career.
I never minded Kelly. Guys on peanuts are hardly a problem. Mannah who maybe on big dollars but from what i gather we get a reduction on him as been at club so long?.

Based on value for performance for Kelly probably too much, same goes for Mannah. The money he's on is almost elite money for a prop and he could only ever be classed as good but now not even that.

I really doubt Mannah is on huge coin. The last couple of years he has been one of, if not the only player eligible for the long player service allowance anyway.

Some on here don't think you should have an opinion unless its their own and try to belittle you because of it. Then when you call them out they deny the sometimes childish comments were directed at you. Trouble is once he is paid more than the LPSA his pay affects the cap, and we have a cap not a sombrero like a few other clubs. And apparently no TPAs either. I have heard his pay is well north of $500k and imo worth less than LPSA.

Over 500k is about of a worry. Say he was 300k under the cap and 200k was off the cap would be alright.

IIRC, there are three other players eligible for it in 2018. Folau, K Pritchard and Terepo.

That's a very good question. Where is the demand that would've pushed Mannah's price so high? He's probably getting paid more than he's worth as a player (for off field activities and leadership) but no f**king way is he on more than $500k.

It's an inconsistent narrative some merkins want to push. We have a very competitive team (proving the salary cap is well managed) yet we're so poorly managed that we've paid significant overs to one particular player? One who is a known quantity at that. It's as dumb as the idea that we paid overs for everybody EXCEPT Jarryd f**king Hayne back in the wooden spoon years.
