Hayne was pretty careful with his words. He said that he knew there was talk of an offer 'but none of that got brought to me formally'. So, it quite possible that his manager received the offer that the Parra press release is talking about, and for whatever reason, the formal offer wasn't shown to wonderboy (possibly so that he could run the current claptrap he's talking).

Yeah, at the end of the day he's going to a struggling club to be the highest paid player in the history of the sport.

We'd be in a serious lot of pain for the next couple of seasons if we had to come up with even something close to the Titans offer.

Why would think that when he left for the NFL at the end of the season leaving the club high and dry. Hayne only cares about 1 thing himself and me personally i'm quite happy he won't be playing at the club.

Colonel I was certain because the coaching staff was that he was coming. There was even a chance before the board got the arse that he was going to play with us this year. This is unprecedented treachery and his landing at the airport on the Gold Coast should be soured with a proper statement from us.

I reckon there would have been more chance of getting him before the board got rissoled. The board has always been under pressure to give fans what they want and what most of ours obviously wanted was overpaid superstars.
