When Jack Gibson first came to the club he wanted to change our name to The Rams (in reference to John Macarthur and Merino rams). I think the Parramatta Rams has got a good ring to it.

Oath. But if I remember correctly, Fitzy put a stop to it only to lament in later years that the eel was a difficult moniker to market and wanted to change it but it was to late for some reason. Don't know why though.

But we should have always been the RAMS it is our districts heritage and so much more kiddie friendly.

Oh btw, we will not win a premiership with this team, until we have Viliame Kikau or a Kikau type of player in our lineup. It needs to happen real quick. Like now, this season or by next season. This is our premiership window. If we don't do it now, who knows what our roster will look like in 3 years time.
