Agreed. I don’t think either of them should be our halves.
And I've mentioned this ad nauseum in the past - mid season trades (and obligatory 2-3 year deals on top of the mid season switch) should be very carefully considered. Sure, a player on the outs at their current club might find a new lease of life for 12 weeks with a change of scenery but fast forward 12 months, they might be playing reggies and taking up a significant portion of your cap. Quick fix v bigger picture... Gotta be weighed up

Yep, we are better off with Norman IMO

Norman is a better player than Austin (a better playmaker anyway) but Austin wouldn't be pissed off thinking he's on unders or that he should be running the team. Was also a Parra fan as a kid, plus he's the right colour for TheRam.

Austin looked good when Hodgson was killing it. The Raiders attack all came from their creative dummy half. That suits Austin who is not a creative player. Our 9's don't have a creative bone in their body whch would not suit Austin's style of play.

We are into the long shift these days though, which would let Austin stay out wide and run at isolated defenders. A playmaking fullback helps too.
