Rumours and Stuff

I never said anything about him having to replace anyone. I just believe that the coach is responsible for the overall predicament that we are currently in. He has no excuses after 5 years. He has created what we have. It is his vision everyone else is following. He hired or ok'ed the hiring of football staff, etcetera.

So if the players aren't up to it after tweaking with the roster for 5 years and there is no depth there to replace badly performing footballers, then it is of his creation. His own hand. He is the boss man. For now anyway.

No more excuses.
Ram no good being logical and stating the truth when replying to brain dead supporters who don't want to hear it. They have their own agenda to push.

Bazal loves our current forward pack, particularly Mannah and Alvaro, but have noticed in a few posts that maybe, just maybe, he is starting to change. Pou, well for our first loss he had about 40 posts on reasons why we didn't really lose with his classic, 'the panthers didn't beat us, their bench did'. And poor old Garry Gutfull, unfortunately he only ever posts after a gutfull so I do worry about him a bit.

Don't put words in my mouth. You're not equipped to speak for me, or anything with a cranial capacity greater than the average crab for that matter

It is worth the question why BA hasnt any juniors or guys pushing to make their Nrl debut. I think we had Bevan in 2016, none in 2017 and seems like nothing is ready for this year. Is this BA fault? If not his then whoever is doing the recruiting.
We should have 2 every year minimum debut. If someone wants to put a list up of debutants from 2016,17 and this year id say we are bottom 2 or 3.
Yes that is a big worry. Last year we made the grand final for the first time so must have some quality juniors. Already we have lost one to Manly, they can see some quality there. Even Tigers have 3 of our juniors in their squad so they saw quality. Roosters have the 2 Matterson brothers in their squad and we gave them away. They can see quality. I look at teams like Penrith, Tigs, St Geo, even Sharks with juniors in their ranks and they seem to promote one every year. We promote nobody. Is it that BA is too close to the action and can't see anybody? Much like he misjudged our roster for this year. Anyway one can only hope eventually something will change otherwise we'll continue to spend around $1m a year on juniors for everyone else to poach. Btw, why do we do this? Seems a bad investment for me!

Unfortunately if you run near last you have to pay overs to attract quality players, if they even decide to come. Think Tigers paid $800k for Reynolds who I don't regard as a quality player. If Parra finish down the bottom they'll have to spend big to attract the right type of player to right the ship.
Sure, so the players we signed and re-signed last year would be on unders then? We can afford to pay overs where it’s needed.

The Panthers beat us by a few penalty goals. In Penrith. It was a fifty-fifty result.

There were six NRL graduates and we kept four of them. There was no opportunity for Dargan, and Matterson will probably never be a first grader.

But realistically we need to score more tries than the majority of our opponents, because our ability to kick conversions is far inferior to most of our opponents. So there is little point in the argument of scoring the same amount of tries is going to get us remotely close to winning games.

The opposition don’t have their best team available either. In fact neither did we.

We are referring to general ideas (your best team is better than your not-best, you’re more chance of winning at home, etc) in the context of a specific game now. The specific factors apply as well as the general.

Alright. Well what if we score more points, then; you know, overall? Could that be a plan?

Our luck will turn with the goal kicking when our confidence does. Giving away fewer penalties will help too.

It's feasible. He apparently works very hard at training but you can't have a shit attitude some of the time.
Moses > Norman. We would be better off with Austin who is a pure running 5/8th in the 2001 Michael Buettner mold.

We should sign Austin until Salmon develops.

PS Where is that Union kid that did his knee?

Crabs come in many shapes and sizes, which one would it be? Just wondering cos I love crab and wondered if he would be worth eating?

If he were the size of say of a mud crab I might invite him over under the guise that we can discuss and compare outrage over BA. You would be welcome too.

They've all got brains about the same size Rammy, which was the focal point of the comment...
