My spider senses tell me somethings happening and me thinks BA wont be none too happy. Do I know this for a fact? Na. Not at all.
A new assistant and now a HOFM. I wonder how this will play out. Id suggest BA will be under considerable pressure. Its a normal process. Care and support. Offer all the help possible. But what if all that fails?

Na, why would BA be unhappy?

I suspect he was always looking for an assistant and was just waiting on the right one. It was rumoured we were talking to Dymock last year and also McGuire, so he was looking for one. It’s no use just appointing anyone if they aren’t suitable.

Additionally why would he be unhappy with a HOFM being appointed? We sort of already have one in Gurr plus he had one before with Anderson. It’s only going to lighten the work load a bit for him.

Also based on BA’s footy/coaching career, I reckon he has a good capacity with working with others.

Yeah agree .... Max (aka Frank) always talks about not limiting the footy operations, but i think he just doesnt realise how tight he is

Yep, probably some politics being played so Max can improve his resume by mentioning all cost cutting he did!! But now he realised it may not look so good .....

He has been brought in to clean up the joint, including their finances. I suspect on field success isn’t as important to him as it is BA

Seriously though, I hope there is a transition plan or something in place to determine when the administrators have ‘done their job’ and when and how we take the training wheels off.

From the outside looking in it seems that someone might have to tap Max on the shoulder and let him know that he needs to have one eye on his exit strategy.

He should be sacked if the coaching staff can use his cash better elsewhere. Maybe they should sack him and re-sign him for $150k on a 1 year deal.

We can't sack him until he is found guilty.
If we do, we may be in a position where he can sue us for wrongful dismissal if he is eventually found not guilty.
He's been stood down, which is a pretty big indicator of what may happen in the future (considering we didn't stand Semi down when he was on charges), but at the moment we can't really do anything.

The point is though that more people rather than less reduces pressure on the individual and therefore lowers the likelihood of them being in such a perilous position.

I see certain people given jobs who are less qualified and definitely not as good as other options based on the fact they wont call the other person out who are above them so are NO THREAT.
