Mate Vave and Matagi are fill in signings. They were fill ins at Manly and Penrith respectively and they are fill ins here.

And while you have fill-ins on your books you’re stuck with them taking squad spots and cap space. You can’t just recruit over them because it’s inefficient use of the cap. You need to wait until their contracts expire, which is happening this year in the case of a few of our middle forwards. It’s very exciting.

How about you answer the question. We beat both packs last year, and this year we matched Penrith in both games and only lost on goals. If we beat the Dragons at the end of June you’ll look like a f**king idiot. Again!

How many of theirs would make our pack? I would suggest no more than one or two from any of those teams. We obviously lack some size, but the forwards we have are good enough if we could add another big man. Just like how the Dogs and Cowboys packs need more workers. It’s all about balance, not how big your forwards are. We have missed Evans all year.

So you're saying only one or two of the Dragons pack would be good enough to force their way into the Parramatta forwards.

Of the 2 disasters we got out of gaol with both and quickly. Our below average purchases bar Hoffman where 1 or 2 yr deals and not overly expensive.

Evans and Hayne if come good would mean good recruitment. If end up in disaster category well in Haynes case its 1yr deal so only Evans MAY end up there.

Every side will have poor purchases. Look at Titans with Hayne then Cartwright along with Proctor. And they where big money.

Do you think the dogs are happy with Woods and Foran on big bucks and long term contracts?

Pritchard was on a minimum contract and wasn’t that bad in the games he played, but sadly he broke his leg.

Yes Matagi / Vave have been poor, but also don’t think they are massively affecting our cap ( 2 year deals on around $150-200k)

Say what you like about BA, but he has structured our signings / squad in a way which allows us to make some decent changes!!

Even next year we can move on Moses / Norman probably our highest paid players if we want.

We already have an ok squad add Paulo, another forward and maybe a hooker. Plus add Hayne / Brown / mannah / t/Rex / Evan and 1 or 2 promising juniors to the side and things don’t look to bad!!

Like Gower?

No. Gower is more a middle forward for mine who can play a bit on the edge. Creative but not hard running enough or powerfull to be in my 17 at edge

His form at Manly meant hen come with some big hope IMO. In 2016 i reckon he was in there top 3 forwards. Doubt he was on NSW cup money. Id guess atleast 250k

Frank I highly doubt was on less then 200k. He was offered min this year amd rejected it and retired.

I'd hope not, I think he's clearly a bit dumb but is good for the squad on the whole. But I'll back the club either way, ultimately he is their employee.
