Im of the opinion that only Brown and maybe Alvaro are worthy of having cemented places in our future pack going forward and we need at least four gun forward signings to become dominant & that won't happen overnight meaning 2019 may be another difficult one.

Honestly, I think if our pack was fit and we added one damaging attacking forward like Junior Paulo we would be a different team. To be honest if just Kane Evans could get fit and show his best form consistently we would be a much better attacking team. Him, Brown and Paulo would open our attack right up. But a forward like Paulo needs a Mannah/Alvaro/Moeroa in the middle with him, perhaps even two of them. Otherwise our defence would collapse, much like Canberra's is wont to do.

On a brighter not we have a couple of Young guns in Kaufusi and Salmon that will debut within a year. Nikuore will be very good as will Stone.

I think Kaufusi and Salmon are potential stars and almost certain first graders of the future. Stone and Niukore are both possible first graders but no more than that IMO.

I just hope some top recruits have been sewn up for Paulo alone won't change too much.

The Gubb/Lilyman type have a place in the top 30. The Dragons have Mitch Allgood in their squad FFS. If they had as many injuries as us (they have had the same 15 players make an appearance in every game this year FFS) they would be lucky to have won half as many games. We've actually got better backups than most, which is why we've only been flogged twice in eight losses. Manly have no depth and in their seven losses, three of them have been by 26 points or more. Our worst loss after the Brookvale massacre was 18-2 in Canberra.
